Timbershoppe offers a unique line of wood products that can help differentiate your customer's projects from the norm. Be it a Barn, Cottage or Home, these products add a refined and custom finish to any job.
Corlog
CorLog is a unique half-log siding product supplied by Timbershoppe. Whereas cutting the rounded outer edges from a log produces typical log siding products, Timbershoppe's manufacturing process produces a true half-log that retains the full round log end. CorLog is corner notched and bottom coped to permit accurate stacking. As a result, in outward appearance, CorLog looks virtually identical to a true log home.
CorLog is the perfect solution for both contractors and custom builders. No special tools are required, and a maximum length of 12 feet ensures that the product can be easily lifted into place, without the use of a crane.
There are numerous applications for CorLog. It is ideal for builders and designers who are asked to provide the external appearance of a log home, while retaining the internal flexibility of a traditional drywall finish.
For log homeowners who are looking at building a garage, guesthouse, or storage shed, CorLog can provide an ideal solution, without having to purchase and erect another complete log structure.
CorLog is also an answer for owners of smaller log homes who are looking at raising or adding on to their houses. With this product it is simple to maintain continuity in appearance, without incurring the cost of a full log structure.
Wood Siding
Lap siding is an economical and attractive siding product that is characterized by a rounded outer surface. This is similar to the "D" finish of Timbershoppe's Single "D" Profiled Log Homes. Lap Siding can be utilized in any siding application in which both the aesthetic and quality characteristics of a natural wood product are preferred.
Timbershoppe also produces full round, half log siding. Half log siding is useful in situations where log infill is required or where an interior log look is desired in custom rooms.
Much of Timbershoppe's Lap Siding is produced from the sap wood layer of beetle kill Pine, exhibiting bluish streaks that create an attractive contrast to natural Pine colouration. This tinge can be retained with a transparent finish, or covered with a solid colour stain if desired.
The use of beetle kill timbers is an environmentally friendly way to address a disease that is affecting forests of the Pacific Northwest. However if a clear, non Beetle Kill product or another species is required, Timbershoppe will be happy to provide a competitive quote.
